2. What data we process and why

This website does not create user accounts. We only process your data when you decide to contact us or book:

• WhatsApp, phone or email. We process the details you give us (name, phone, email, dates and your enquiry) to reply and manage your stay. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps and performance of the accommodation contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Online booking. When you book on this website, the form data (first name, surname, email, phone, country, comments, dates and number of guests) are sent securely to Redforts Software S.L., our booking management system, which creates the booking and sends you the confirmation. We use them to manage your stay, issue the invoice and comply with the legal obligations of tourist accommodation. The website keeps no copy of this data. Legal basis: performance of the accommodation contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Guest registration. As tourist accommodation we are required by Spanish law to register guests' identification details and report them to the authorities (Royal Decree 933/2021). Legal basis: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR).

We keep the data for as long as the relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the periods required by tax and tourism regulations. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

3. Who we share data with

Only with the providers needed to deliver the service: Redforts (booking engine and stay management), the platforms you booked through (Airbnb, Booking.com) and public authorities when required by law. Providers act as data processors and do not use your data for their own purposes.

4. Your rights

You can request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restrict or object to its processing and request its portability by writing to casitasportodebois@gmail.com. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

5. Cookies

This website uses no cookies of its own and no analytics or advertising tools. Only the map in the «Getting here» section, served by Google Maps, may set Google cookies — and it only loads when you click «Show the map». See Google's cookie policy. The calendar and booking form set no cookies.
